Founded in 1993, the hospital is a three-level first-class integrated hospital of Chinese and Western medicine integrating clinical, teaching, scientific research, health, health care and rehabilitation sciences. It is an affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine and a teaching hospital of Jinan University. In 2007, on the basis of Nanhai District Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Foshan City, it was listed as Guangdong integrated hospital of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The hospital has one branch (Shatou branch) and one outpatient department (district government outpatient). The hospital covers an area of 56000 square meters, a building area of 37000 square meters, a business room area of 36000 square meters, a fixed asset of 312 million yuan, and a total value of medical equipment of about 210 million yuan. At present, there are 976 employees, 876 professional and technical personnel, 9 doctors, 89 masters, 22 masters supervisors and 2 doctoral supervisors. There are 750 beds open, more than 1.2 million person times of outpatient (emergency) visits per year, and more than 20000 person times of discharged patients.
