Not long ago, the Houlang basketball court in Nanhai Vanke Plaza was officially opened. The basketball court occupies an area of 600 square meters, with 2 ball racks, equipped with sinks, benches, lights, etc. There is also a viewing area in the park, which is convenient for spectators to watch the game and players to rest.
Hou Lang means literally rising waves in Chinese. It usually refers to the younger generation. The basketball court is named Houlang in the hope that the young generations can brave the wind and the waves and be strong.

The Houlang basketball court is the outdoor basketball court built in the highest standard in Foshan at the moment. It is the first outdoor basketball court in Foshan to use the Olympic-designated sports floor (Enlio SES court series).
In the future, the Houlang basketball court will successively host three-point shooting contests, three-person basketball leagues and other events. Nanhai Fitness Sports Park is in the northeast corner of Guijiang Overpass in Nanhai District, surrounded by several large residential communities, schools, and shopping malls. The upgraded Nanhai Fitness Sports Park includes an intelligent football sports area, a landmark sports area, a small amusement park, a children's interactive activity venue and a fitness corridor, with a total construction area of about 4,300 square meters. It was the 12th National Fitness Day in China on August 8, 2020. The BNS Basketball Park in Guicheng was officially opened to the public. The park covers an area of 3,000 square meters. The ground of the court is made of acrylic anti slip material. This park is equipped with 1 standard playing field and 6 standard half courts, with a total of 8 baskets. The basketball park started construction on May 15 this year and completed on July 25, which lasted two months.
It is quite rare to build a large basketball park in such a prosperous business center in China. Thanks to the convenient transportation location of the surrounding subway and bus station, as well as the advantages of dense residential quarters, in the trial operation stage, the daily flow of people on the court was about 300 to 400. During the peak period, the number of people present in the court reached 200. The park greatly meets the needs of the surrounding citizens for basketball.
The park uses an unmanned ticketing equipment. Citizens can scan the code and enter. In addition, the stadium is also equipped with a 3-meter protective fence, a fixed auditorium with 350 people, a beverage sales point, energy-saving LED lights, public washing rooms and other facilities. A 3-hour free parking policy is offered for the convenience of the people who exercise in the park.
In the future, the park also plans to add 2 to 3 children's basketball courts, electronic shooting machines, and entertainment and fun shooting facilities to further improve the functions of the park's sports facilities.
In terms of daily maintenance, the park has no less than 3 people on duty every shift every day, responsible for the inspection and maintenance of facilities, daily patrols, keeping order.
