Foshan Experimental Mingde Chinese and English School offers nine-year education. It is expected to start classes in September this year and will have 3,600 students. Foshan Experimental Mingde Chinese and English School has a total investment of more than 450 million yuan, covering an area of nearly 74,000 square meters, and has a building area of more than 100,000 square meters. The school is located on the east side of Shangyuan Property Park, Nanzhuang Town in Chancheng District; Nanzhuang Avenue East extension line in the north; Tanzhou Waterway in the east and Shangyuan Village Industrial Park in the west. Shangyuan Park and Shangyuan Primary School are in the surrounding area.
On January 30, the construction of the main structure of Foshan Hanwen Foreign Language School was done. After the Spring Festival, the work of interior decoration, equipment installation, and garden construction has been be improved, and the construction was completed ahead of schedule to ensure that the school will start as scheduled in September this year. Hanwen Foreign Language School is located in Guicheng Street, Nanhai District. It offers education of nine years integrating elementary school and junior high school. It has 96 classes and can have as many as 4,300 students. The president of the school is Huang Xingu, an outstanding president of the Ministry of education and the famous president of Guangdong Province. At present, the school’s official WeChat account Hanwen Foreign Language School has opened an appointment channel for visiting the campus. After filling the registration form, parents can visit the school on site.
Foshan Nanshan Lake Experimental Middle School is a new comprehensive experimental middle school. It will officially open in September this year, allowing as many as 2,400 students to study in this junior high school. The school is located near Nanhai campus of South China Normal University in Shishan University City, covering an area of 50000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 70000 square meters. The school is planned to run 48 classes. Currently, the main buildings such as teaching buildings, student dormitories, administrative office buildings, libraries, canteens, gymnasiums, and faculty dormitories under construction and entered the interior decoration stage. The school is also equipped with a standard sports field, swimming pool and other facilities.
The construction of Foshan Tingyinhu Experimental Middle School is expected to be officially completed in April this year. After the examination and approval of the Education Department, it is expected to have the first 20 classes and more than 800 freshmen in September this year. The school is located in Xiqiao Town, with an investment of over 400 million yuan, covering an area of 73000 square meters and a total construction area of about 110000 square meters. The school plans to run 72 classes and provide education for as many as 3000 students.
According to He Ruyu, an excellent principal who used to be an honorary head teacher of primary and secondary schools, the school is expected to be open to parents and students in May for a visit.
As the only public middle school in the Guangdong Financial High-tech Zone, Denghu Middle School is a key project of Guicheng Sub-district in 2019. The school is currently recruiting a team of teachers.
The school is located in Liangxi Industrial Zone, Xiaxi, Guicheng, at the junction of Huacui North Road and Haiwu Road. The total investment is about 480 million yuan;, the total land area is about 52 mu, and the total construction area is 80934 square meters. The school has 42 teaching classes that can accommodate 2,100 students. It is expected to be completed and put into use by the end of August 2021.
Nanhai Desheng School is a new member of Desheng Education Group, with an investment of over 1 billion yuan. The goal is to build a school offering nine-year education, integrating high-quality education resources at home and abroad, adding a new choice of high-end private education for parents and students who have higher pursuit of education.
The school is located on Shalong Road, Jiujiang Town, Nanhai. It covers an area of 110 mu and has a building area of 120,000 square meters. Currently, the main project has been completed and it is planned to open in September this year. In order to meet the needs of students' comprehensive quality development, the school has more than 20 world-class functional rooms, including artificial intelligence (AI), holographic projection, intelligent recording and broadcasting, visual art, creative design and other function rooms. The gymnasium, school auditorium, student apartment and other large-scale function rooms will also be constructed according to international first-class standards.
Lecong Beiwei Public School (tentative name) is jointly run by Lecong Town Government and Shunde No. 1 Middle School. The school is expected to be put into use in September 2021, with a long-term scale of 108 teaching classes. There are 60 classes in each grade of primary school and 48 classes in each grade of junior middle school, which can provide education to up to 5000 students.
The construction project of the west campus of Huanhu Primary School in Chancheng District (Chancheng Wenhua Primary School) has a total investment of about 144 million yuan and a school scale of 24 classes. It is planned to be put into use in September 2021. It can accept up to 1080 students.
On January 20, LEH International School Foshan was officially opened. After the formal opening of the school, the school can provide education for 800 students, world-class teaching, sports equipment and diversified accommodation for 10 to 18-year-old foreign students and also students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
The school is located in Sanlong Bay Chancheng area (Shiwan Qicha International Community), with a planned total land area of 3,8249.4 square meters and a total construction area of about 60,000 square meters.
In January this year, the construction of the main structure of Gaoming No. 1 Experimental School (the school in the east section of Xijiang New Town) was successfully finished. The school is located in the east area of Xijiang Industrial New City, north of Mingguo Road, south of Xijiang Avenue, east of Wenchang North Road, west of Yanjiang Road, adjacent to Binjiang Wetland Park, covering an area of 67.53 mu and a total construction area of 54,000 square meters. The school is constructed in accordance with the standardization school of Guangdong Province with a total investment of 250 million yuan. The campus is equipped with various supporting facilities and advanced education and teaching equipment. The school will offer education of 9 years, with an estimated enrollment of 2,520 students. The school is planned to open in autumn this year.
Xiqiao Town in Nanhai District is welcoming a branch new public kindergarten - Tingyinhu Branch of Central Kindergarten. The kindergarten will open in August and can accept as many as 420 kids.
Tingyinhu Branch independently runs the kindergarten. The head of the school is appointed by the Central Kindergarten of Xiqiao Town. Tingyinhu branch is expected to open in August 2021, with 12 classes. In April 2021, it will issue an enrollment announcement together with Xiqiao Town Central Kindergarten, and Xiqiao Town Education Office will coordinate and guide the enrollment and admission work.
In addition to the new schools that are expected to open this year, there are other schools in Foshan that are currently under planning and construction.
Jingui Campus of Nanhai Experimental Middle School
The Foshan Public Resources Trading Center recently issued a bidding announcement of Nanhai Experimental Middle School Jingui Campus, which shows that Nanhai Experimental Middle School is planning to have its Jingui Branch in Yingyue New City. Construction is expected to start in August this year at the earliest and complete in August 2024.
The address of Jingui Campus of Nanhai Experimental Middle School is planned on the south side of Qingfeng East Road and the east side of Shilong North Road, Guicheng Street, Nanhai District. The planned land area is about 50947 square meters. The main construction includes teaching buildings, administrative buildings, lecture halls, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The total planned construction area is about 91399 square meters and the total investment of the project is about 452.589 million yuan.
On January 20, the construction project of Keji Lu Primary School in Shishan Town, Nanhai District held a groundbreaking ceremony. The project has a total investment of 210 million yuan. The campus covers an area of 35,000 square meters. It is planned to hold 48 teaching classes and can take up to 2160 students.
On January 30, Foshan Huaying New City Experimental School officially laid the foundation. The school is located on the south side of Heyue Road and the west side of Wanfu Road in Lecong Town, next to the Municipal Maternity and Child Health Hospital, with a total construction area of about 110,000 square meters and a land area of 44,490.39 square meters. The investment is about 600 million yuan. The school provides nine-year education and can accommodate around 3400 students.
Shunkong Ronggui School is located at No. 1, Xinbao East Road, Gaoli Community, Ronggui Street, Shunde District, with a planned total construction area of 91,000 square meters. The school plans to start school in September 2022. After completion, it will have 72 teaching classes and provide education to around 3000 students.
On the morning of January 23, Beijiao Town, Shunde District officially launched the demolition of the Yingyi Shoe Factory plot in Xincun Industrial Zone. The plot covers an area of about 58 mu, and will be built into a non-profit private school.
A total of 48 classes will be set up in the first phase of the school, which will be put into use in September 2022. In the second phase of the project, a non-profit private school (including the parts built in the first phase) that offers 12-yearr education will be completed.
Sanshui School Project Affiliated to South China Normal University is in Leping Town. It is scheduled to officially open on September 1, 2022. It plans to reach a school scale of 2,520 students five years after school opens. The school is invested and constructed by Hengjie Group and operated and managed by South China Normal University. It is a nine-year school with a total of 54 classes in the elementary and junior high schools.
